Grape variety: Sangiovese 100%

Vinification and aging: the grapes are fermented on the skins after careful selection. Fermentation takes around 18 to 20 days at a controlled temperature of 28-29° C. After racking the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in inox vats before being aged in French oak barriques (225lt) and tonneaux (500 lt) for nearly 14 months. Bottling takes place in early summer. Aged in bottles for another 15 months before release.

Medium Production: 3000 bottles - 0.75 lt /bottle


Tasting Notes :
In the glass, intense, dark ruby colour. Generous and complex.
On the nose, distinct aroma of plum and ripe cherry and notes of tobacco and spices.
In the mouth, full-bodied, with plenty structure and personality, and clear yet soft and elegant tannins that make for a lingering aftertaste and pleasant finish.
